Description

Banksy’s famous painting depicts the notorious police brutality of the Battle of Beanfield in 1985.  Now homed in the MOCO Amsterdam, it is however owned by a private collector. The flowers held by the policeman are white but when the painting sold, Banksy wrote to the new owner to say he was happy to paint them pink as he had originally considered them to be pink. I have left the DK version of this yarn as if white flowers, but pink for the sock version.  DK on the right in the product image, sock on the left.

Please note all of these skeins are hand dyed therefore are unique.  If you are using more than one skein in your project I recommend you alternate skeins regularly in your work.

Yarn perfect for knitting socks, but also shawls…Wool offers warmth and comfort, nylon provides durability and strength required for the hard wearing nature of socks.  Why not knit a one skein shawl or knit with a several colours for a larger shawl such as a Stephen West’s Vertices Unite, let your imagination run riot.
