On Sunday I taught my friend Fiona* to crochet. She mastered the treble, double, chain and slip stitch in her first lesson and went home with the beginnings of a cowl in her bag and video tutorials to help her out between lessons.
As part of her “Crochet Experience” I took Fiona on one of my absolute favourite walks up Mam Tor, having stopped at The Bridge Bakehouse for a luxury cake and coffee to go. A pretty perfect day.
We’ll be repeating it too if you would like to join us. You can learn a new skill and take inspiration from stunning surroundings. To join our Hook Ups or for further details you can email me at amy@mamieandflorrie.co.uk or follow me on Facebook and Instagram.
*Fiona and I met day one of Freshers Week at University in Scotland and shared a mutual love for The Smiths. Over the four years at Uni we became great friends and now we are lucky enough to live close enough to be able meet up regularly, we can usually found in the Northern Quarter in Manchester or found deep in yarn concentration.
